Coming to Holy Communion at All Saints’

It is perfectly proper to come to a Holy Communion service here and simply observe. Equally, if you are visiting from another church, where you receive Holy Communion, you will be most welcome to share bread and wine with us.

After the bread and wine have been consecrated most people stand in line go forward to the altar. However, not everyone wants to receive Holy Communion.

Individuals sometimes want to receive a personal blessing in place of bread and wine.

To signal that you want a blessing please keep your hands below the altar rail.

If you offer open hands, i.e. with palms upward, we will serve you Holy Communion
